Since 2008 Dheva Mantra Resort is a five-star sanctuary located on the serene banks of the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the resort is celebrated for its luxurious colonial-style architecture and tranquil ambiance that beautifully blends Thai heritage with timeless elegance.




TASK

The challenge was to modernize Dheva Mantra’s logo and overall corporate identity while preserving its original essence. Our goal was to create a refreshed look that feels timeless yet relevant, reflecting the hidden Thai Colonial concept that defines the hotel’s architecture and character.

We simplified the details of the original icon to achieve a more refined and versatile form, and introduced a new custom typeface inspired by the elegance of the Thai Colonial era. The color palette was completely reimagined — the lush green represents the surrounding tropical landscape, while the rich brown tones draw from the hotel’s distinctive wooden interiors. To complete the system, we developed a new pattern derived from the redesigned icon, adding a unique visual signature that strengthens the brand’s modern identity while honoring its heritage.
